Grishigiano The Sculptor

Grishigiano was never formally trained as a sculptor, yet his desire to express himself through form and material was undeniable. From the moment he first worked with stone, he knew it was his true medium—one that allowed him to transform ideas into tangible realities.

His journey began in Odessa, where he first carved limestone, drawn to its softness and malleability. But it was after moving to France that he truly expanded his practice, gaining access to an array of exquisite materials - Tuscan marble from Pietrasanta, Portuguese marble, and rare stones from local quarries. Working tirelessly in his studio in the South of France, he immerses himself in the sculptural process daily, refining his vision with each piece.

Deeply inspired by the masters - Brancusi, Henry Moore, and Jean Arp - Grishigiano’s work is a dialogue between classical elegance and modern abstraction. But above all, his greatest muse remains the natural curves and sensuality of the female form. His sculptures embody a profound appreciation for beauty, balance, and the raw power of the material itself.

For Grishigiano, sculpting is not merely a technique but a lifelong devotion - an ongoing conversation between hand and stone,

vision and touch, tradition and reinvention.
